Job Overview
In this role as Signalling Technician at Egis, your key responsibilities will include:
* Installing new signalling systems or upgrading existing ones according to specifications and safety standards.
* Conducting regular inspections, testing, and maintenance procedures to ensure proper functioning of signalling equipment.
* Identifying and diagnosing faults or malfunctions in signalling equipment and implementing appropriate repairs or adjustments to restore functionality.
* Testing and commissioning signalling systems to ensure reliability and adherence to safety regulations before putting them into service.
* Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and testing results to track the history and performance of signalling equipment.
* Collaborating with railway personnel to coordinate signalling activities and ensure safe and efficient train movement.
Requirements
To perform the duties of a Signalling Technician, you must possess:
* Certificate IV in Electrical (Rail Signalling)
* Electrical License
* White Card
Additionally, you should have:
* Experience as a Signalling Technician
* RIW Card (Rail Industry Worker Identification)
* C-class driver's licence
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative
