To support ongoing demand and strengthen our Hobart Service & Maintenance Team, we are now recruiting two full‐time permanent technicians:
Maintenance Technician
About the Role
You will carry out a variety of electrical service work including repairs, maintenance, fault finding, and small commercial installations. This role is ideal for:
* Domestic electricians wanting to move into the commercial/service space, or
* Commercial electricians seeking a fresh start, new challenges, and the chance to broaden their skills.
Technicians with experience in fire protection, security systems, data, or communications will be highly regarded — but BSH is happy to train the right candidate.
About You
You are an enthusiastic, dependable A‐Grade electrician who:
* Can work autonomously or collaboratively
* Has strong diagnostic and problem‐solving skills
Requirements
* Current Tasmanian Electrical Licence
* Current Driver's Licence
* Ability to obtain an acceptable National Police Check
2. Maintenance Technician (Hobart)
About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports scheduled and reactive maintenance across appliances and electrical/mechanical systems. You will:
* Perform routine and corrective maintenance
* Diagnose and repair faults efficiently
* Provide technical support and great customer service
* Work both independently and within our Hobart team
This role suits candidates with mechanical or electrical aptitude, appliance servicing experience, or general maintenance backgrounds.
About You
You:
* Enjoy hands‐on technical work and problem‐solving
* Take pride in safe, high‐quality workmanship
* Communicate well with customers and colleagues
* Are eager to learn new technologies and skills
Requirements
* Current Driver's Licence
* Ability to obtain an acceptable National Police Check
