About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of SAP systems through thorough testing, focusing on technical aspects and collaborating with the test team to apply appropriate techniques and tools. Your expertise in program planning, SDLC, and Enterprise SAP Testing delivery will be valuable assets in this position.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Be an Australian citizen.
* Possess an active NV1 AGSVA clearance or be able to achieve one.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop test cases aligned with requirements and execute them within specified timelines.
2. Support the Test Manager in developing and managing the test strategy and plan as directed.
3. Guide project test team members throughout the test lifecycle, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
4. Prepare and implement test plans to guarantee timely task completion.
5. Review work products to enable testers to meet quality objectives.
6. Communicate plans, status, issues, and concerns through appropriate management systems.
7. Provide stand-in capability, as needed, for the Program Test Manager.
8. Collaborate with Testing & Release Management to ensure strategic goals and objectives are met, and business benefits are realized.
9. E nsure all artifacts are in ALM to record and report KPIs accurately.
10. Pursue opportunities for Automation integration and testing to introduce efficiencies and quality gains across systems.
11. Based on use cases, data consumption, and other variables, develop a short-term and long-term strategy to address quality issues.
12. Raise defects/issues and provide an implementation plan for their resolution by anticipating similar issues in the future and taking proactive actions based on current environment and stakeholder needs.
13. Develop and implement system testing strategy centered around standardizing test design, development, and execution plans.
14. Suggest and implement changes to the overall testing approach.
Requirements
* Essential Skills:
* Exceptional communication skills.
* Experience in developing and delivering Test Strategy & Plans.
* Demonstrated experience in leading and successfully delivering large testing projects.
* Highly experienced in program planning, SDLC, and Enterprise SAP Testing delivery.
* Familiarity with SAP systems.
* In-depth knowledge of one or more specific SAP modules.
* Strong knowledge of testing cycles, test tools, and defect tracking processes relevant to SAP delivery practices.
* The ability to travel to client locations.
* Familiarity with test management tools such as Microfocus ALM, JIRA, TestRail MTM, XRAY.
* The ability to provide clear and concise reporting in relation to test preparation progress, test execution, and defects.
* The ability to motivate and drive a team to succeed while delivering high-quality outcomes.
* A passion for innovation.
* Prior experience working in Agile environments/teams using methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, XP, and familiarity with supporting tools.
