About the role
The Laboratory Technician - Clinical Trials is responsible for the processing of all clinical trial blood samples for the Department of Medical Oncology. The Laboratory Technician is expected to:
1. Process clinical trial specimens as outlined in trial specific manual.
2. Maintain accurate temperature logs for all Medical Oncology Freezers.
3. Coordinate with courier for the collection of trial specimens as per requirements of specific trial.
4. Coordinate with trial coordinators to ensure timely processing of above specimens and data entry.

5. Relevant Science, Pathology or laboratory qualification.
6. Demonstrative accuracy in record keeping and data entry.
7. Demonstrated experience in biological laboratory techniques.
8. Able to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.
