Key Responsibilities
- Support the leadership team in fostering a positive safety culture
- Analyze HSEQ performance, reporting, and system updates
- Advise and educate teams on legislative requirements
- Investigate incidents and critical risks
- Liaise with key stakeholders regarding HSEQ
- Drive a safe and healthy work environment
- Conduct HSEQ site inspections and audits, pre-start meetings, and Toolbox meetings
- Coordinate HSEQ training programs
- Assist in preparing and implementing HSEQ documentation
- Maintain the company's Integrated Management System
- Create and review SWMS, JHA's, and conduct audits
About You
- Prior experience leading HSEQ in construction and remediation works
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a similar discipline
- Ability to positively influence, develop, and maintain site relationships
- Self-management of workload while ensuring project efficiency and a positive team environment
- Proven problem-solving capability
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
- Understanding of Quality Management processes
