Employers seek a skilled Payroll Specialist to manage payroll, staff administration, and human resources for the duration of the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately process payments, allowances, entitlements, and deductions
* End-to-end payroll processing and other pay-related tasks
* Maintain employees' HR/Payroll records and undertake audits as required
* Resolve complex payroll issues
* Verify and quality assure core payroll data
* Provide advice on Awards and department policies and guidelines
* Support schools, managers, employees, and service providers about HR and payroll functions
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years end-to-end payroll experience
* Sound knowledge of key legislation including Fair Work Act 2009, Superannuation Guarantee Act, and Workers Comp Act
Assignment Details:
A 4-month assignment with VIC Government is available, with potential for extension. Oracle or equivalent HRMS experience is necessary, and working rights for the length of the assignment are required. Triple vaccination is also mandatory.
