Qualifications
Excellent computer, communication & phone skills, with attention to all details.
Experience with 2D/3D design software programs, an advantage.
Willingness to learn & absorb drafting and estimating software.
Professional confidence & people‑friendly skills, to liaise with clients and builders.
Studying or completed any design/interior course, or industry experience, an advantage.
Positivity & accountability and proactivity with time management.
A creative & passionate understanding of colour selection and interior spaces.
Responsibilities
Interpret construction plans and/or sketches into a workable design.
Present drawing designs & work closely with clients to discuss their new spaces.
Assist clients with colour selection, whilst aiding design ideas, in a timely manner.
Create & amend costing of cabinetry with accurate attention to detail.
Focus on client & builders to manage client projects, from start to sign off.
Maintain accurate project documentation & product knowledge.
All things admin: answering phone calls and reception work.
Work in a small team, as well as individually & unsupervised if proficient.
Job Details
Commencement: mid‑late January 2026 with possible training days in 2025.
Hours 8am‑4.30pm Monday to Thursday.
Hours 8am‑2pm Fridays only.
Wages based upon experience & skillset.
Must live in this town & be present in office daily, no remote.
