About the role:
Reporting to the COO, the role of Director, People & Culture is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving cultural transformation, talent development, leading organisational restructures, managing change initiatives, ensuring workplace safety and overseeing training programs. Key responsibilities include:
4. Collaborate with the CEO and the Executive Team to understand the Company’s short/long-term business goals and develop people strategies that support them.
5. Develop, implement, monitor, and review key human metrics and benchmarks to track progress towards business objectives and identify areas of improvement.
6. Develop strategies and initiatives to drive the Company’s cultural transformation and embed desired behaviours across the organisation.
7. Foster a culture of inclusion, diversity and belonging promoting a positive work environment where all employees feel valued and respected.
8. Lead organisational restructuring efforts including redesigning organisational structures, roles and process to support strategic objectives.
9. Implement performance management processes and systems to set clear expectations, provide feedback and drive performance improvements.
10. Identify training needs through performance assessments, skills gap analysis, and feedback from managers and employees; and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies aligned with the Company’s goals and objectives.
11. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
12. Provide leadership and oversight of health and safety initiatives, including risk assessment, training, and compliance with WH&S regulations.
13. Ensuring compliance with Fairwork Australia practices and legislation.
About you:
14. Degree qualified in Human Resources management or relevant business qualification with extensive experience in human resources, organisational development, or related roles with a focus on cultural transformation and change management.
15. Strong knowledge of best practices in cultural transformation, change management, workplace safety as well as relevant laws and regulations.
16. Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the Company.
17. Demonstrate high level of time management to balance operational and strategic objectives.
18. Ability to work collaboratively and build networks providing best practice insights.
19. Fluent in English and Mandarin are essential for your success in this role.
