We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director of Sales to join our award-winning team due to an internal promotion.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Lead corporate sales efforts, developing and executing strategic plans to achieve revenue goals.
* Manage key corporate accounts, driving business through relationship-building and proactive account management.
* Identify new corporate opportunities and create tailored proposals to meet client needs.
* Support MICE segment development, including collaboration on large group inquiries and client engagement.
* Align with Director of Sales and Revenue team on rate strategies, promotions, and market positioning.
* Represent InterContinental Sydney at client events, trade shows, and sales missions.
* Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
* Mentor junior sales team members to support their growth and team success.
Requirements:
* At least 3-5 years' experience in hotel sales, preferably in a luxury or upper-upscale environment.
* Strong track record in managing corporate accounts and MICE groups, with consistent sales growth.
* Proven ability to build strong client relationships and convert high-value leads.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Familiarity with hotel booking systems is highly desirable.
* A team-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
* Australian permanent working rights are required.
