Overview
A dynamic and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager is required to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality food standards, and efficient restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including preparation, portioning, and presentation of menu items.
* Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as mentor them to enhance their skills and knowledge.
* Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
* Conduct quality control checks to ensure that food and service meet our high standards.
* Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
* Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
* Prepare detailed reports on food orders and chef performance for management review.
* Manage conflict situations with diplomacy and tact.
* Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and responding to their needs promptly.
Requirements
* At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the foodservice industry.
* Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with a focus on maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in hospitality or a related field is an asset.
