Workforce Navigator Program: We offer 1:1 relocation consultant support for new Mental Health employees to assist with finding housing, childcare/education (if applicable), partner employment (if applicable), social groups & integration into our community to assist in the transition to Shepparton, regional Victoria.
About the department
The HOPE program is a community based service that provides support to individuals who have experienced suicidality in the setting of Psychosocial stressors. The team consists of mental health clinicians, Psychiatrist and Lived/Living Experience carer and consumer support sworkers. HOPE service is able to be provided for up to 12 weeks with the aim to address Psychosocial needs and provide therapeutic interventions to consumers. Clincians in the team are trained in providing therapy and work alongside the LLEW staff who provide Peer support and faciltate linkages to services the consumer or carer to promote their recovery.
About the role
The Senior Clincian with the team based in Seymour will be able to provide guidance, mentoring and supervision to the staff based at Seymour HOPE. You should have demonstrated ability to provide expert mental health assessment and treatment for the consumers of the program and an extensive knowledge of suicide risk assessment and management. Experience in delivering therapeutic interventions and training in differing therapy models is an essential component of the role. If you have an interest in working in the area of Suicide Prevention and working in a mutidisciplinary team then this could be the ideal role for you.
