Body Repair Technician/Panel Beater
Tesla Oakleigh is seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join its elite team. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring perfection to Tesla vehicles using the latest tools, techniques, and materials in a fast-paced environment.
* Restore structural and cosmetic integrity on Tesla Model S, Model X, and Model 3 vehicles according to Tesla-specific procedures.
* Glue, rivet, and weld replaced structural components.
* Repair exterior cosmetic panels via metal finishing and body filler.
* Replace collision-related parts including body panels, suspension, vehicle structure, radiators, airbags, and trim.
* Maintain MIG welding proficiency.
* Work collaboratively within teams while adhering to standards.
* At least 3 years of automotive collision repair experience.
* Excellent teamwork attitude and neat work habits.
* I-CAR Australia welding certification is advantageous.
* Knowledge and experience with aluminum repairs and procedures.
* MIG welding proficiency.
* Experience with heavy damage and structural repairs on prestige vehicles.
* Certificate in collision/body repair and maintenance is desirable.
* Valid driver's license and good driving record.
* Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedure.
* Strong knowledge of PPE and safe practices.
* Strong written and verbal English skills.
* Hands-on problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
This role requires a minimum of 38 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate based on experience plus equity opportunity.
