Milestone IT has partnered with a premier Tier-1 Consulting firm to find a heavyweight Senior SAP BW Engineer for a high-impact, immediate-start engagement. This isn't just a "ticket‐taking" role. Our client needs a consultant who can own the lifecycle—from high-level solution design to hands‐on delivery and stakeholder management.
The Role
You will be embedded within a fast-paced consulting environment, acting as the technical authority for BW workstreams. Your focus will be on designing scalable data models and ensuring the seamless delivery of outcomes that meet rigorous business standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Architectural Design: Lead the design of end-to-end BW solutions (BW/4HANA preferred), ensuring alignment with best practices and client strategy.
* Outcome Delivery: Drive the development, testing, and deployment phases to meet project milestones on time.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Translate technical complexities into clear business value for C‐suite and project leads.
* Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in existing data flows and implement performance tuning.
What You Bring
* Senior Expertise: Extensive experience in SAP BW (BW/4HANA, BW on HANA) and a deep understanding of the SAP data ecosystem.
* Consulting Mindset: You've worked in professional services or consulting before; you understand the pace, the documentation requirements, and the need for "client‐ready" outputs.
* Technical Breadth: Strong proficiency in ABAP, AMDP, and Native HANA modeling.
* Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills. You can lead a workshop and write a technical spec with equal ease.
