From assisting with system configuration and monitoring, to contributing to backup, recovery, and automation initiatives, this role is ideal for someone with foundational experience who's ready to take their next big step.You'll collaborate closely with senior administrators and cross-functional IT teams, and you'll be part of an environment where knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and process improvement are highly encouraged.

Key responsibilities include: Assist with the configuration, management, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve basic issues Help manage user access, patching schedules, and system updates Support backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity Maintain accurate documentation on configurations, troubleshooting steps, and operational procedures Assist in the development of scripts or automation tools (e.g.
PowerShell, Bash) Work alongside senior sysadmins to support seamless IT operations Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team across various IT functions ?? Desirable skills and experience: Experience managing and optimising Windows Desktop environments Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (PowerShell, Ansible, etc.)
Understanding of ITIL-based service management frameworks Previous experience in Government or regulated industries is highly regarded Experience aligned with SFIA Level 4 or above ??
