This senior leadership role suits a capable Registered Nurse with strong aged‐care management experience, clinical governance knowledge, and a commitment to supporting residents and staff.As the Director of Care, you will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer and lead a team of Clinical Nurses to ensure the highest standards of care, compliance, and clinical performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and support clinical teams.Ensure safe staffing and RN care‐minute compliance.Oversee clinical governance, SIRS reporting, and regulatory requirements.Conduct daily clinical rounds and manage high‐risk assessments and escalations.Prepare monthly clinical reports.Support AN‐ACC processes, budgeting, and performance outcomes.What's on OfferCompetitive remuneration package.Salary sacrifice benefits.Ongoing professional development, education, and training opportunities.RequirementsRegistered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.Demonstrated leadership and management experience in residential aged care.Strong understanding of clinical governance, accreditation, and legislative requirements.Excellent communication and clinical problem‐solving skills.A high level of professionalism, accountability, and reliability.DesirablePostgraduate qualifications (or currently studying) in Gerontology, Aged Care, or a related specialty.Current Driver's Licence.Knowledge of Support at Home programs (not essential).Additional Information This is a 12‐month parental leave cover position. A continuing clinical governance role will be available from February 2027. Australian residential aged‐care experience is essential. Sponsorship is not available.
