Due to continued growth of our operations in Queensland, Cougar Drilling is seeking Trainee Drillers and Offsiders based in the Mackay and Emerald regions.
About you…
* Hold a current Generic Underground Induction
* Proven experience as a Driller in an underground coal mining environment
* Excellent safety record and strong commitment in all areas of WHS
* Ability to work on varied rosters and shift structures
* Strong communication and reporting skills
* Demonstrated team player with a strong work ethic
* Ability to understand written and orally communicated plans and accurately record details
* Willing to complete a Pre-Employment / Coal Board Medical
