This is your opportunity to help us bring that vision to life and be an integral part of the opening team.Why Club Tarneit?Be at the forefront of a dynamic, modern club with cutting-edge facilities.Play a pivotal role in establishing the culture, process, and high standards of Club Tarneit.Join a team that values your professional development and support.Take the reins in a role that requires your leadership to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Process accounts payable, ensuring timely payments and follow up and queries from suppliers.Process daily cash and banking reconciliation, balancing tills and daily accounts.Processing of payroll on a weekly basis, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Management of the Employee HRIS system and issuing of all onboarding paperwork to new employees.Preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.Preparing BAS lodgments and any other statutory payment requirement.Management of the Club's cashflow preparing weekly cash flow management reports.Producing budgets, P&L's, balance sheets, statements and other monthly and annual financial reports.Ensure compliance with gaming machine entitlements and VGCCC requirements.Various ad-hoc administrative and accounts tasks.Championing the POS system (Bepoz), assisting with reconciliation and stocktaking of the inventory.Provide support for various administrative tasks related to the General Manager.Support to the front office team as required.Liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation and information as required.We are looking for a team player with:Exceptional bookkeeping and administration skills.Strong financial and general communication skills.The ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Ability to evaluate business needs and financial risks.Has the capability to delegate administrative responsibilities appropriately.Commitment to implementing and enforcing financial compliance and high internal control standards.Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in financial reporting.Ability to discuss and resolve financial discrepancies and complaints.A commonsense approach to financial decision-making.A trustworthy and reliable disposition.An optimistic and positive "can do" attitude.Your Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.Minimum 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role.Hospitality Experience.High Level of Secretarial experience and knowledge.Computer literate and very high level of understanding of computer software.Instigate and maintain accurate records.Excellent organizational skills.Join Our Journey:Club Tarneit is committed to providing a safe and healthy workplace, supporting your growth, and maintaining high standards and exceptional customer service.
