**Lives Lived Well **provides support for people in Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia with concerns related to alcohol and other drugs, mental health, transitioning from corrective services, veterans' wellbeing, and gambling.

**Targeted Psychological Therapies **is one of our newest programs. The program is aimed at increasing access to psychological treatments for vulnerable individuals in the Darling Downs region. This may include those suffering from financial hardship, those at risk of suicide or self-harm and marginalised groups within the community.

The program runs in multiple locations. In this position, you will be based in Warwick, covering the surrounding region and local government area.

**Your Opportunity
In this stand-alone role, you will provide support and services to those who are most vulnerable. You will provide 5 sessions with each individual on average under the individual's mental health care treatment plan. Working with the individual you will provide psychological interventions focused on recovery or reducing the distress of the presenting issue. You will be provided with referrals from the Program Team Lead.

Whilst this position works largely autonomously, you will receive support from LLW to undertake your role through our well established organisational clinical governance. The management and administration of referral allocation is also covered by LLW. There is a need for some travel in the local region to service clients. You will have access to a fully maintained company vehicle to travel to other work sites.

**Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide individual therapy sessions to address various mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, grief, and cognitive impairments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of counselling or treatments, and the accuracy and completeness of diagnoses, then modify plans and diagnoses as necessary.
- Ensure appropriate clinical risk management strategies are in place to keep clients safe.
- Engage in supervision and team meetings on a regular basis.Refer clients to other treating professionals, institutions, or support services if required.

We are recruiting one full time position with the possibility of part time for the right applicant (minimum of 3 full days per week).

The gross annual salary (full-time) ranges between $106,379 to $119,869 plus super, depending on the successful applicant's knowledge, skills and experience.

**What You'll Bring
**To succeed in this role, there are some essentials you'll need:
- A genuine passion for social justice and making a difference in those marginalised, vulnerable and disadvantaged groups in the community.
- Openness and a non-judgemental approach.
- High level interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a clinical and research team, and independently to meet project deliverables.
- Experience in clinical risk assessment and management.
- Knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks (that guide decision making within human service delivery).
- Dedication to ensuring confidentiality.Current Australian Driver's licence.
