Network Engineer

* Paying $520 - $620 per day Inc super
* 6-month Assignment
Green Light Worldwide have a requirement with our client partner for a Network Engineer join their team on 6-month assignment.
Responsibilities
* Provide Level 2 & 3 network support and ensure system availability.
* Monitor network performance and resolve issues promptly.
* Manage incidents and service requests within SLA timelines.
* Maintain accurate documentation and update CMDB after changes.
* Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, security standards, and patch management.
* Plan and implement network changes following change management processes.
* Design and deliver network solutions for projects, focusing on security, availability, and simplicity.
* Drive improvements through automation and best practice methodologies.
* Collaborate with project teams and provide regular status updates.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking (Routers, Switches, Nexus) and Palo Alto security.
* Expertise in VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, and route redistribution.
* Experience with SCADA, Modbus, PLC, and industrial control systems.
* Ability to work independently across multiple priorities.
* Desired: Familiarity with SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Cisco ISE, and network automation.
* Relevant tertiary qualification and certifications (Cisco/Palo Alto preferred).Experience in ITIL environments and mission-critical networks.
