We are seeking a highly motivated Learning and Development Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging learning experiences for children and families.
About the Role
This is a part-time opportunity that requires someone who can thrive in an inclusive, collaborative environment. You will work closely with our team to create fun and interactive learning experiences for primary school-aged children.
* Create educational programs and activities that cater to diverse learning needs
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for everyone
Key Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A genuine passion for working with children and families
* Energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to be part of a dynamic team
* Knowledge of the National Education and Care Law, National Quality Framework, and My Time Our Place Framework (or a willingness to learn)
* The ability to foster diverse, inclusive learning environments
* Dedication to best practices for health, safety, and wellbeing
* A strong commitment to maintaining a child-safe culture
* Experience working with or volunteering in child-focused environments
* Knowledge of educational frameworks (highly regarded but not essential)
* A current Working With Children Check (NSW) (or willingness to obtain one)
