Procurement Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead the full lifecycle of procurements for subcontractors and materials within our organization. Key responsibilities include developing procurement strategies, preparing and issuing RFQs/ITTs, managing and evaluating supplier responses, and making recommendations to award contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Manage end-to-end procurement processes for complex sourcing activities in line with project governance, covering project-wide and high-value packages.
* Commercial and Technical Tender Reviews: Lead coordination efforts, engage specialist teams, and support contract negotiations including supplier performance checks.
* Contract Recommendations and Execution: Prepare comprehensive recommendations for contract awards, oversee contract drafting, issuing, and execution following procurement guidelines.
* Supplier Database Management: Maintain and develop the project supplier database, including market assessments, supplier prequalification, and bid support tracking.
* Local, Diverse, and SME Engagement: Drive strategies supporting Meet the Buyer events, community advertising, and sustainable procurement initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Compliance and Performance Monitoring: Ensure procurement activities comply with ethical standards, legislation, nuclear regulations, and professional procurement principles while monitoring, managing, and reporting on supply chain performance, maintaining a strong focus on Zero Harm and safety.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be highly organized, and have a proven track record in procurement management.
