Painter Job Description
A skilled and experienced Painter will be responsible for working on various projects at our institution, contributing to the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities.
Duties Include:
* Preparing surfaces for painting on a scheduled maintenance cycle.
* Applying paint to new surfaces while ensuring excellent results.
* Making minor repairs to plaster as needed.
* Performing minor rendering repairs when necessary.
* Having a thorough knowledge of current painting systems and products.
* Cleaning work sites, sheds, and equipment thoroughly.
* Calculating the quantity of materials required for each task.
* Assisting in monitoring and directing safety checks.
* Working within established health and safety guidelines.
* Carrying out other duties as assigned by senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in painting and related tasks.
* Sound knowledge of painting systems and products.
* Ability to calculate material quantities accurately.
* Excellent cleaning skills.
* Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols.
