Responsibilities Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based, person-centred care. Demonstrate professional practice by adhering to AHPRA standards, code of ethics, legislative requirements, and Healthscope policies. Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations, supporting professional development, and providing supervision and teaching to peers, graduates, and students. Act as a valued member of the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care. Collaborate with external partners to ensure high-quality care across the healthcare continuum. Maintain professional relationships with VMO partners to enable high-quality patient outcomes. Coordinate with surgeons regarding equipment, scheduling, and staffing. Review lists in advance to ensure equipment, consumables, and staffing are adequate. Participate in hospital standard meetings as allocated. Relieve for floor coordinators as required. Minimum requirements Current Registration with AHPRA. Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards). Minimum of 5 years perioperative (Scrub/Scout) nursing experience with extensive Urology experience, including complex and da Vinci robotics cases. Ability to deliver high-quality patient care.
