We are seeking a driven, reliable, and proactive Dental Assistant who is looking for a long-term career, not just a job. This role is best suited to someone who takes pride in their work, shows initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role where you will play an integral part in the smooth running of the practice. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, works with urgency, and consistently stays one step ahead.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing genuinely caring and compassionate patient care
* Taking initiative and anticipating the needs of dentists and patients
* Preparing surgeries efficiently in line with the daily schedule
* Chair-side assisting across a wide range of procedures
* Maintaining strict infection control and sterilisation protocols
* Managing instrument flow and clinical setup with efficiency
* Multitasking and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Managing patient appointments using D4W
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
* Supporting reception when required
* Ensuring a clean, safe, and organised clinical environment

This role is not suited to candidates seeking short-term or university-based casual work.
Skills & Experience
* Previous dental assisting experience preferred
* Exposure to reception duties and D4W highly advantageous
* Strong customer service skills essential
* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident required
