About the Role
Working under general direction, you will assist Medical and Nursing staff by performing a full range of duties both inside and outside of the Operating Theatre area.
Key responsibilities include:
- Transportation and positioning of patients.
- Set‐up, collection and delivery of theatre equipment.
- Cleaning and ancillary duties.
- Assisting with positioning of equipment, tourniquets, electro‐surgery equipment, monitors, cameras, microscopes, insufflators, etc., for scheduled procedures.
- Preparing beds for post‐operative patients, changing linen, applying electric blanket, drip stand, cot sides.
You will work in a multidisciplinary team, using modern methods of assessment and treatment in medical, surgical, mental health, allied health and other techniques.
