A large, complex and purpose‑driven organisation is seeking a General Manager, Transformation to lead its enterprise‑wide transformation agenda and position the organisation for long‑term success. Operating in a highly accountable and evolving environment, the organisation manages critical services and assets and is focused on strengthening performance, capability and culture to meet both current and future challenges.

Role
Reporting to an Executive General Manager, with a dotted‑line relationship to the Chief Executive Officer, this executive role provides strategic leadership across large scale transformation, change and delivery initiatives that uplift organisational performance, capability and culture. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in translating strategy into action and ensuring transformation initiatives deliver measurable and sustainable outcomes.
You will lead the development and execution of an integrated enterprise transformation roadmap, bringing clarity to priorities, sequencing and pace. This will include leading significant cost‑out and efficiency initiatives, improving operating effectiveness, and ensuring transformation investment delivers clear value.
You will champion a whole‑of‑system approach to change, aligning people, process, technology, data and operating models. A key focus of the role is building organisational digital capability, enabling improved decision‑making, contemporary ways of working and more effective delivery across the enterprise.
You will establish and oversee disciplined transformation governance, portfolio management and assurance frameworks, providing transparency rigour and confidence in investment decisions, delivery commitments and benefits realisation.
This role requires visible, credible leadership of change. You will build strong organisational change capability, support senior leaders to role‑model effective change behaviours, and embed contemporary transformation and delivery practices that strengthen maturity over time. You will foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement, while maintaining strong operational and safety discipline.
What You Will Bring
You will bring extensive experience leading complex, enterprise‑wide transformation in large, asset‑intensive or regulated environments, including delivering significant cost‑out, efficiency improvements and digital uplift. You will be a trusted advisor at executive level, with the judgement, resilience and influence required to navigate complexity and deliver results in ambiguous and dynamic settings.
