About the opportunity
We are offering multiple ongoing full-time Entry Level Processing positions at our Meat Processing Plant located in Stawell, VIC 3380. Each position offers a stable, progressive, and rewarding career path within a safe and supportive environment.
Roles may include a range of activities depending on experience and aptitude, including but not limited to:
- Production work/process line
- Trimming, cutting, boning & slicing
- Chiller pushing
- Floor labouring
- Slaughter floor general labouring
- Operation of equipment and machinery
- Cleaning & sterilising work areas and equipment
- Stock receiving/movement
- General labouring tasks
- Distribution & warehousing
*Various positions range from physical to technical roles; all trainings will be provided by TFI.
Responsibilities & requirements
- As a full-time, permanent employee, you will work 38 hours per week with overtime and weekend work available.
- Salary starts from $49,000 – $54,000 per year (Full Time).
- Previous experience in the meat processing or agricultural industry is not required.
- Applicants without prior work experience are welcome.
- Applicants must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency or Full Working Rights in Australia.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical check, including drug and alcohol test, and be Q Fever vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated.
