We are hard‐working, down‐to‐earth, and passionate Geotech professionals, providing quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, mining and energy sectors.
As we continue to grow our presence in Wollongong, we're looking for Geologists /Geotechnical Engineers from Graduate to approximately 6 years experience who are keen to build strong foundations, gain meaningful field exposure, and grow their careers within a respected and collaborative geotechnical consultancy.

If you enjoy practical geotechnical work, being out on site, and working closely with experienced engineers who are approachable and supportive, this role offers an excellent platform to accelerate your learning and career progression.
Your Role
As a Geotechnical Engineer at CMW Geosciences, you'll work across a diverse range of projects, supporting clients from early investigation through to construction delivery with full training and mentorship provided. There will be additional overtime paid for project work.

Assisting with client communication and proposals, gaining confidence dealing with a wide range of stakeholders
Mentoring and supporting junior engineers as your experience grows
Keeping up to date with industry developments, safety standards and best practice
Maintaining high technical standards and a professional, team‐focused work ethic
This role provides significant exposure to field‐based geotechnical work and regional projects, with a clear pathway toward project management for engineers who enjoy ownership, leadership and client interaction rather than purely desk‐based design roles.
