We're seeking Certificate III qualified educators for casual roles across our Regional North centres including the newly opened Eaglehawk location in 2025, as well as three new centres in Numurkah, Shepparton & Wedderburn opening in 2026. Please specify your centre location(s) in your application, in order of preference. Immediate start for casual shifts in our open centre.

About Early Learning Victoria
The Victorian Government is establishing 50 government-owned and operated early learning centres by 2032 as part of the Best Start, Best Life reforms. The centres offer childcare, Three and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten and Pre-Prep. The centres provide high-quality, accessible and inclusive early childhood education and care that is child centred, focused on learning through play and in nature, with strong connections to local communities.
Early Learning Victoria is part of the Victorian Department of Education. The ELV central team is leading the roll-out of the 50 centres and supports and oversees 4 centres that have recently opened. About the Role
As a valued member of our growing team, you will:

* Collaborate with your team to support curriculum planning, delivery and implementation of integrated teaching and learning strategies, guided by the individual learning and development needs of each child including daily routines, and documentation of children's learning journeys
* Contribute to a culture of reflection, professional growth, and continuous improvement
* Exemplify and embody the Early Learning Victoria philosophy and values
* Create a positive and welcoming experience for families and children where all children feel safe and valued within a supportive classroom
* Ensure all legislative requirements and child safety standards are met and maintained
Experience required:
* Experience working with children aged 0–5 in early childhood education and care
* Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with staff, children, families, and the community
* Solid understanding of child development, play-based learning, and inclusive practices
* Ability to support children's wellbeing, emotional development, and sense of belonging
* Positive, flexible, and professional attitude with a genuine passion for working with children
* Experience supporting vulnerable children and families (desirable)
Qualifications required:
* ACECQA approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or actively working towards.
* Current "Employee" Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certification
* Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting online learning (can be arranged by Early Learning Victoria)
* Willingness to consent to a Police Check (to be arranged by Early Learning Victoria)
* International Police Check required if resided outside of Australia for 12 months or more during the last 10 years
* Sound knowledge of Education Care Services National Law and Regulations (ECSNLR) Victorian Early Years Learning Development Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and Child Safe Standards (CSS)
* Food Handling Certificate and Safe Sleep Training is desirable
