Sales Specialist GenAI/ML, Data and AI, Specialist Team

Role Overview

As a Sales Specialist for GenAI/ML, Data, and AI, you will focus on driving adoption of AWS cloud solutions related to Generative AI and Machine Learning in ANZ's largest and most innovative companies. You will work with enterprise customers, engage with cross-functional teams, and help develop strategies to increase platform adoption and transform business outcomes through AI and data-driven solutions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Define target market segments, customer base, and industry verticals within ANZ.
2. Contribute to and execute strategic business development plans aligned with regional and global goals.
3. Identify prospects and communicate value propositions tailored to their business and use cases.
4. Collaborate with internal teams such as Solution Architects, Partner, and Marketing to drive opportunities to closure.
5. Engage with CXO-level stakeholders to promote AI/ML solutions and foster long-term relationships.
6. Work across teams to develop and bring to market innovative solutions, ensuring customer success at scale.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

* 7+ years in direct sales or business development in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, with experience selling to C-level executives.
* 10+ years in business development, partner development, or sales/alliances management.
* Experience in positioning and selling technology to new customers and market segments.
* Proven ability to engage with C-Suite and public sector customers in Australia & New Zealand.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Success in driving adoption of disruptive technologies within enterprise accounts.
* Consistent track record of territory growth and quota achievement.
