The Opportunity - 2 year contract role The Sustainability Strategic Projects Manager is responsible for delivering strategic projects key to the success of Stockland's ESG Strategy. The role will be focused on development and delivery of sustainability projects that deliver commercial value for Stockland and positions the company as an industry leader. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Support the execution of our Decarbonisation Strategy by building a pipeline of value creation opportunities including industry collaboration and external funding sources, including completing commercial analysis of opportunities. Develop and deliver sustainability programs and projects in close collaboration with the business including evaluating commercial feasibility and conducting market trend analysis. Be an active member of the Sustainability Leadership Team. Support the development of our nature strategy including identification and assessment of nature-related risks and long-term implications for Stockland, strategic planning and identification of strategic responses to create value for Stockland. Further advancing our circular economy strategy and opportunities to create commercial and sustainable value through selection of materials, reducing waste to landfill and sourcing of low carbon energy sources for projects. About You You are a dynamic and collaborative people leader, putting the client first in every interaction. With experience in building multi-disciplinary teams to deliver outcomes, you will have developed and delivered commercially viable solutions to support business and community outcomes. You will have had exposure and an understanding of ESG concepts and ideally have experience in a Development or Project Management related role.
