Overview
Senior Project Engineer - Mechanical role based in Perth, Western Australia. FIFO position on a 12 month contract. Mechanical Engineer with experience in renewable construction projects, heavy lift operations, and contractor management.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of assigned mechanical work packages on site
- Manage contract deliverables, reviewing contractor mechanical project documents and management plans
- Respond to technical queries promptly and provide practical mechanical solutions
- Investigate and resolve mechanical engineering issues, recommending best practice solutions
Requirements
- Previous experience in mechanical engineering/project delivery in site based roles
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- Prior experience in heavy lifting/erection and installation
- Previous construction experience within the renewables sector highly regarded
- Minimum full working rights required for this position
