Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities with ongoing training and developmentMake a genuine impact by supporting individuals and families in their recovery journeyAbout YouWe know great clinicians come from a variety of backgrounds, so we're open to applications from:Registered nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, trauma therapists, mental health professionals, allied health workers, and youth workersGraduates who can demonstrate the right mix of skills, values, and readiness to learnProfessionals with transferable skills from counselling, psychology, or related roles, even if you haven't been an AOD clinician beforeTo succeed in this role, you'll need qualifications in the health, social or behavioural science field and/or extensive AOD training with a minimum Diploma in Alcohol & Drugs (you can also be in the process of obtaining this)Additionally, you will have:Experience working with individuals and families affected by alcohol or other drug issuesExperience working with clients with dual diagnosis or complex needsUnderstanding of harm minimisation principles and evidence-based interventionsStrong knowledge of community resources, treatment services, and referral networksAs our ideal candidate, you'll be friendly, approachable, and able to build trust quickly.
You'll bring a non-judgemental, person-centred approach with excellent communication skills, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable sharing personal information.

Together, we are changing lives, supporting recovery, and creating a more inclusive society where everyone has the opportunity to live fully.For more information, please visit our website: Health & Community Care is looking for multiple Alcohol & Drug (AOD) Clinicians to be based in Hervey Bay, Fraser Coast Region, with outreach to Bundaberg and the North/South Burnett regions.
