The Portfolio Pricing Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximise profitability and while balancing customer engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive analysis, and financial modelling. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and experience in travel or rewards pricing.
This role can be based out of our Sydney or Brisbane office.
Day to Day:
Develop and execute pricing strategies to achieve business objectives and financial targets
Stay informed of industry trends and adjust partnership strategies to maintain a competitiveness
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with overall business goals
Build and maintain influential relationships with industry leaders, partners, and key stakeholders
Develop and implement metrics to monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, identifying opportunities for improvement
Utilise data to identify areas for improvement and optimise partnership pricing strategies designed for mutual growth
Prepare and present pricing recommendations to senior management
Support pricing negotiations with key clients and partners
Ensure compliance with pricing policies and regulations
Support the development of pricing for complex partnership agreements, ensuring successful balance of adoption and long-term growth
Foster open communication channels with partners to gather feedback and drive continuous program enhancements
Ensure product performance in line with financial objectives, including pricing and packaging of solutions to deliver profitable growth
Champion a culture of innovation, agility, and customer-centricity within the team
You will have:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field (MBA desirable)
Proven experience in a pricing or commercial strategy role, preferably within financial services, loyalty and rewards or travel
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis and revenue management
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging industry and senior stakeholders
Strong ability to synthesise market data and drive data-informed decisions
Experience influencing cross functional teams and working with external partners to drive success
