Job summary:

* Tuesday: Morning, Afternoon
* Wednesday: Morning, Afternoon
* Saturday: Morning, Afternoon
* Sunday: Afternoon, Morning
Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and cook various cafe-style meals, often involving a range of cooking methods and ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean, organised, and sanitary kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and health standards and legislation.
Inventory & Stock: Manage food inventory, order necessary supplies from suppliers, and ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Menu Development: Develop daily menus, including specials, and potentially coordinate catering for events.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cafe staff, particularly the front-of-house team, to provide excellent customer service.
Skills and Qualities
* Attention to detail in food preparation, plating, and packaging.
* Ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety.
* Strong organisational skills for managing inventory and kitchen workflow.
* Good teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with other staff.
