About the role
The Program Manager is responsible for leading program management, coordination and the successful delivery and orchestration of several high-impact complex projects that transform the business toward an end-state strategic vision. The role ensures effective governance and project controls, manages risks, interdependencies, quality, and leverages resources to maximize efficiencies and achieve the required benefits and outcomes.
We currently have the following Program Manager roles available within Digital Solutions Group:
2 x Permanent Full-Time roles
3 x Temporary roles till 20 September ****
Specialisation areas:
System/application rationalisation (software, systems, hardware, contracts)
Digital Core Platforms enablement/integration program management (e.g. ERP, SMS, CRM or other complex systems)
Network Infrastructure refresh
Identity and Access Management / Zero Trust implementation
Managed Services transitioning (e.g. infrastructure to cloud)
Day to Day Duties
Provide strategic program management with experience in governance, government policy application, assurance frameworks, and Treasury business case processes
Manage multiple projects toward a common business goal and vision
Strategic procurement planning and go-to-market approaches
Vendor management (commercial aspects and relationships)
Direct, manage and develop project managers and technical resources assigned to the program
Program planning, project controls and accurate reporting
Highly Regarded
Strategic Program Management Experience
Familiarity with government procurement and commercial contract management
Knowledge of Treasury / Digital assurance frameworks
Professional PM experience (e.g., PMI, PMP, MSP)
Experience with strategic program management over a 2–4 year horizon
