About the role
We currently have a job opportunity for an Accounts Administrator based at our Richlands facility in Queensland. The Accounts Administrator shall be responsible for undertaking accounts administration activities in an accurate, efficient, and in a timely manner to support site operations within the DGL Mining Division.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Accounts Payable:
Record and match supplier invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts, process payments via Sage and ANZ portal, and perform daily bank reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable:
Allocate customer payments, issue credit notes/rebates, and send customer statements as required.
Ledger Maintenance:
Create and update supplier and customer records in Sage, including managing credit applications.
Expense Management:
Record and process employee expense reimbursements.
Administration:
Handle filing, correspondence, phone enquiries, and other general administrative support tasks.
Reporting & Month-End:
Prepare batch sheets, process invoicing, and assist with end-of-month reconciliations and reporting.
About You
Customer Focused & Self-Motivated:
Excellent customer service skills with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
Technical Proficiency:
Intermediate skills in Excel and general computer systems; experience with Xero and/or Sage X3 preferred.
Accounting Expertise:
Minimum 2 years' experience in accounting or bookkeeping within a similar role.
Analytical & Detail-Oriented:
Strong analytical ability with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Adaptable & Independent:
Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with minimal supervision.
