About us:
Informatics Service includes a wide range of responsibilities ranging from clinical decision support through data analysis and visualisation to clinical documentation improvement and from system design to system implementation/administration and adoption issues.
Clinical documentation improvement serves as an essential resource to the multidisciplinary clinical team and ensures that all relevant conditions requiring healthcare resources throughout the patient's hospitalisation is accurately captured in the final coded data promoting great patient care and disease management while appropriately reflecting the acuity severity and overall patient outcome.
About the role:
A Nurse Grade 6 (1) is a Registered Nurse/Midwife who demonstrates:
* provides nursing and/or midwifery services in health service settings,
* is responsible for a portfolio with a focus on clinical care/leadership, management, education and/or research.
The activities required of roles at this level are predominantly clinical in nature but also provide support to a Nurse Grade 7 or above in management activities. In supporting the Nurse Manager Informatics (NM), the Clinical Nurse (CN) provides clinical leadership and clinical engagement of multidisciplinary clinicians and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of safe, quality and cost-effective care consistent with:
* Contemporary clinical standards and best practice
* Principles of Activity Based Management (ABM) Framework
* Organisational change – change management guidelines
* Destination 2030
About you:
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate are mandatory for this position.
* A relevant postgraduate qualification is an expectation of this position and/or Clinical Documentation Specialist qualifications/certification.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $10,992 p.m. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $ $58.30 p.h.
