About the Program
* Location: Ipswich (Western Corridor)
* Duration: 20 weeks, supervised traineeship
* Positions available: 13 trainees
* Target participants: Women returning to work, disadvantaged jobseekers, and First Nations people.
What You’ll Gain
✅ Nationally recognised qualification – Certificate I in Work Skills
✅ Wrap-around support with driving lessons
✅ Hands-on experience in:
* Customer service & visitor engagement
* Event management & community engagement
* Tourism operations & sponsorship activities
* Social media design, posting & monthly newsletters
✅ Practical workshops, including:
* Cyber Security Workshop (2 days)
* Finance & Money Management Workshop (1 day)
✅ Contribution to Ipswich’s growing tourism industry through heritage train rides, themed events & historical experiences
Who We’re Looking For

* Are seeking a pathway into employment in admin, customer service, or tourism
* Are available to commit to a 20-week program
