Our Housing Services team playsa critical role in helping individuals and families access andsustain affordable housing, and we're looking for anexperienced and organised Administration SupportOfficer to help keep things running smoothly.
About the Role
As the Administration Support Officer, you'll provide vital day-to-day administrative support to ourHousing Program. This is a varied role that combines reception,property administration, financial processing, data entry andclient liaison. Your attention to detail, organisation, and abilityto multitask will ensure we deliver efficient, high-qualityservices to tenants and stakeholders alike.
You'll be part of a passionate and collaborative team thatworks closely with internal departments and external partners,including community housing organisations, contractors, and theSouth Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Key Responsibilities
* Support rental operations including rent calculations, arrears management, and rent reviews
* Liaise with tenants, contractors, and support services toensure effective communication
* Issue notices under tenancy legislation and supportcompliance with policies
* Prepare documentation and represent UnitingSA at SACAThearings
* Manage invoices, end-of-month financial processes, and datareporting
* Maintain accurate tenant records and ensure high standardsof confidentiality
* Support service coordination and attend housing forums asrequired
What You'll Bring Qualifications & Compliance Requirements
* A Certificate III in Business Administration or a related discipline (or equivalent experience in a similar role)
* Current DHS Working with Children Check(essential)
* Current National Police Clearance(essential)
Experience
* Previous experience in office administration, accounts, orproperty management
* Experience in triaging tenant maintenance requests andscheduling works (desirable)Previous exposure to or understanding of the community housing sector (highlydesirable)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularlyWord and Excel
* Experience working with different operating systems anddatabases
