Our clients count on us when the stakes are high — and that's where you come in, helping leaders navigate complex change with insight and integrity. As a Strategy Consultant, you'll play a vital role in defining enterprise strategy, shaping operating models, and leading end-to-end workstreams from hypothesis to executive-ready outcomes.
The way Australia's largest organisations compete is changing - fast. AI, regulatory shifts, evolving customer expectations and new market entrants are reshaping the strategic landscape across financial services, mining and beyond. Strategy& is where that thinking happens - and we're looking for Managers ready to step into the centre of it.
Strategy& is PwC's global strategy consulting business. In Australia, we define enterprise strategy, design operating models and deliver transformation for clients navigating complex, high-stakes change. Our work runs from strategy through to execution - and our clients expect us to bridge the two. That combination of strategic rigour and delivery depth, backed by PwC's broader capabilities, is what makes us different.
In this role, you will own workstreams end-to-end: structuring the problem, developing hypotheses, leading analysis and shaping outputs that executives act on. You'll be the engine room of our engagements - driving quality, managing timelines and making sure the team's work tells a clear, compelling story. But delivery is only part of the role. You'll coach and develop junior team members in real time, across dynamic team structures where every engagement looks different. You'll also contribute to business development and begin building the client relationships and market perspective that define the next stage of your career.
We're looking for structured, hypothesis-driven thinkers with genuine commercial awareness and the ability to lead teams through ambiguity. You should be someone who takes ownership - of the work, of the team's development and of the standard we deliver to clients. Experience in financial services or mining is valued and will strengthen your candidacy, but what matters most is the quality of your thinking, your drive to deliver and your ability to make the people around you better. Australia is home to some of the most significant institutions and resource companies in the region - and the strategic challenges they face are only accelerating.
If you want to do work that shapes real decisions, in a team that rewards rigour, intellectual honesty and impact - this is where to do it.
