As a Project Engineer you will execute service projects on Siemens Energy turbines, compressors and generators with minimal supervision. You will ensure compliance with customer satisfaction, quality and safety standards while supporting specialised project teams. How You'll Make An Impact
* Follow procedures: ensure Siemens Energy procedures for Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and Inspection and Finding reports (IFR) are adhered to, and all relevant protocols and forms are completed and signed.
* Technical support: provide on‐site support for the Project Manager, Site Superintendent and Site Supervisors, ensuring quality documentation is correctly completed and data is transferred to the master digital record.
* Customer collaboration: work with Siemens Energy technical leads and supervisors to recommend actions to the customer regarding findings or non‐conformances, and secure agreement on actions.
* Corrective actions: raise IFRs for findings, ensure customer acknowledgement before rectification, and confirm corrective actions have ITPs and meet required standards.
* Supervision and documentation: supervise off‐site work, ensure all Change Orders and Variations have ITPs, and confirm all ITPs and record sheets are signed off before commissioning works.
* Continuous improvement: assist in preparing and implementing the project Quality Plan, ensuring all contractual and OEM requirements are met, and contribute to the continuous improvement of site processes and digitalisation initiatives.
What You Bring
* Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a Trade Certificate with relevant experience.
* Good technical knowledge, ideally with exposure to rotating equipment.
* Basic understanding of commercial and contractual matters.
* Good customer‐service and relationship skills.
* Able to work independently when required.
* Detail‐oriented with an understanding of processes and documentation; comfortable using English; full working rights in Australia required.
