Electrical Engineering Technician Job Description
Phillip Riley are searching for an Electrical Engineering Technician to assist in the maintenance of plant, as well as the planning and implementing of maintenance strategies and improvements within the technical environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks including preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations, circuits and stations.
They will also be required to assist Engineers and Engineering Teams with design and layout of electrical installations on infrastructure such as substations, switches, cabling systems and motor control systems.
The role will involve the planning and supervision of preventative maintenance of our manufacturing machines and tools, as well as executing designed improvements by installation and/or fabrication of those plans.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant environment or comparable job position, and be trained in using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
They will also need to be confident in designing and implementing improvements in electrical processes, and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations, circuits and stations
* Assisting Engineers and Engineering Teams with design and layout of electrical installations on infrastructure
* Planning and supervising preventative maintenance of manufacturing machines and tools
* Executing designed improvements by installation and/or fabrication of plans
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a relevant environment or comparable job position

* Confident in designing and implementing improvements in electrical processes
Benefits:
* $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year salary
