We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a reputable, large national company based in Strathpine. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure ongoing casual work with the potential to transition into a permanent position. About the Role: Working in a busy yard environment, you will be responsible for loading trailers with a variety of materials, including long and awkward items such as pipes up to 8 metres in length. This role requires strong attention to detail, safe operating practices, and solid experience in load planning. Shift Times (Rotating Roster): Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm | $38.32 per hour Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm | $42.92 per hour Key Responsibilities: Safe operation of forklifts to load and unload materials Handling and transporting long/awkward loads (up to 8m pipes) Planning and organising loads for transport efficiency and safety General yard duties including stock movement and housekeeping Working collaboratively with the team to meet daily targets Adhering to all WHS procedures and site policies About You: Valid LF Forklift Licence Proven experience handling oversized or awkward loads Strong knowledge of load planning and weight distribution Ability to work a rotating roster (day and afternoon shifts) Reliable, hardworking, and safety-focused Physically fit and able to work in an outdoor yard environment What's on Offer: Competitive hourly rates Work with a well-established national company Ongoing casual opportunity with pathway to permanency Supportive team and strong safety culture If you're an experienced forklift operator looking for your next opportunity, apply now!
