For Purpose Aged Care Australia (FPACA) is a purpose-led, not-for-profit organisation entering a period of national growth and operational transformation. We are seeking a highly capable Corporate Governance Manager to work closely with our CEO, Board and Executive Leadership Team to ensure strong governance, effective leadership forums and disciplined execution of our strategic priorities.

The Role
This role is ideally suited to a professional who enjoys working at the intersection of governance, strategy and execution.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager – Strategy & Performance, the Corporate Governance Manager plays a key role in ensuring executive and Board forums run effectively, strategic initiatives maintain momentum and organisational governance processes operate smoothly.
You will work closely with senior leaders across the organisation to coordinate executive meetings, track strategic priorities, support governance forums and help ensure decisions translate into action.
This role will be based in Cheltenham, Victoria, with occasional travel to FPACA locations as required.
Key Focus Areas
Governance & Board Support
* Provide secretariat support for Board and Committee meetings
* Manage agendas, minutes, action registers, and governance records
* Coordinate schedules, travel, and site visits
Executive & Leadership Support
* Prepare and review meeting papers with the CEO and Executive team
* Compile meeting packs and track decisions to completion
* Facilitate leadership forums and executive workshops
Strategy & Projects
* Support strategic planning and track organisational priorities
* Monitor progress of key initiatives, risks, and follow-ups
* Drive momentum across transformation and improvement programs
Communication & Coordination
* Assist with executive and organisation-wide communications
* Ensure seamless coordination across leadership and project teams
The About You
You are a highly organised and proactive professional who is comfortable working with senior leaders and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
You bring strong attention to detail, excellent written communication and the ability to keep complex workstreams organised and progressing.
You will likely bring:
* Experience supporting senior executives, governance forums or strategic initiatives
* Strong capability preparing agendas, executive papers and meeting packs
* Excellent minute-taking and action-tracking capability
* Exceptional organisation and attention to detail
* Strong judgement and discretion handling confidential information
* Advanced Microsoft 365 capability (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
Desirable
* Experience supporting Board or executive committees
* Background in governance, consulting, PMO, strategy or executive office environments
* Experience in aged care, healthcare, not-for-profit or regulated sectors
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, governance, communications or project management
