The Opportunity
Our Leading Hand Heavy Vehicle Mechanics play a key role in our heavy haulage maintenance operations, supporting a small team to achieve maintenance deadlines while providing technical guidance, leading pre‐start meetings, and promoting a strong safety culture aligned with site safety KPIs. Based at our state‐of‐the‐art Onslow Truck Maintenance Facility (TMF), you will be responsible for maintaining our premium fleet of Kenworth Road Trains, small mobile plant, and ancillary equipment to maximise reliability and performance. Our modern fleet consists of impressive Kenworth C509s equipped with 18‐speed transmissions and triple configuration hydraulic side tippers, featuring the latest technology and specifications. These are permanent full‐time FIFO opportunities from Perth, WA, operating on a 2/1 roster with rotating day and night shifts.
About You
* Australian or New Zealand recognised trade qualification
* Experience leading and/or mentoring a small team within a similar environment
* A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
* Demonstrated diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance skills
* The ability to perform physically demanding tasks
* Unlimited Australian Work Rights
* Applicants with experience maintaining Kenworth heavy haulage fleet with Cummins engines and hydraulic tipping trailers will be held in high regard!
