Cleaner/Laundry Assistant - Casual
Multiple casual positions available with flexibility and availability to work a seven-day roster

About the Role
Rumbalara Elders Care Facility are seeking energetic and enthusiastic community members to fill casual positions at our 30 bed Aged Care Facility. You will play a vital role in improving and maintaining the quality of life of our Elders.
To maintain the Rumbalara Elders Care Facility (ECF) premises in a clean, safe and hygienic condition in accordance with reasonable and agreed community expectations and observe all appropriate cleaning schedules, practices and procedures accordingly.
About You
To excel in this position, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
* You are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
* Certificate in Cleaning related discipline - desirable.
* Good communication skills
* Ability to write clear and precise English.
* Experience in a commercial cleaning-based role, with solid knowledge of hygiene and infection control practices.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Demonstrated ability to work without supervision to complete tasks in an effective timely manner.
* Ability to work within the culture of Rumbalara Elder Care Facility (“the facility”) and knowledge of Aboriginal culture.
Experience in working in an Aged Care setting.
