Overview
Retail partner Account Manager responsible for building and expanding relationships with key retailers. The role is based in the west of Melbourne and requires weekly visits to Geelong and Ballarat. Focus areas include identifying new business opportunities, delivering training, and ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as an ambassador for Latitude's brand.
* Maintain and grow relationships with key retail partners such as Apple, JB HIFI, Harvey Norman, The Positive Guys and other major retailers.
* Conduct weekly visits across the assigned territory.
* Identify recent business opportunities and lead conversations with partners about offering affordable payment solutions.
* Deliver a structured training framework for retail finance to promote sales growth.
* Ensure partners present products in a compliant manner through regular compliance checks and annual regulatory reviews.
* Provide on‐call service to partners during store operational hours.
* Track daily activity and capture progress to meet business goals and targets.
* Collaborate with retail sales teams to drive results and solve problems.
Qualifications and Experience
* Strong relationship‐building skills from previous sales roles, managing multi‐level relationships.
* Highly organised and thrives in a fast‐paced environment.
* People‐oriented, friendly, honest and pragmatic approach.
* Knowledge of the retail industry and sales finance.
* Willingness to learn and drive continuous improvement.
* Understanding of compliance and regulatory risks in retail lending.
* Creative mindset that seeks new business and product opportunities.
* Comfortable delivering training to small groups and fielding questions.
* Experience in a retail store manager role is desirable.
