Emerge is a forward-thinking practice, and we are looking for a new fulltime Administration Officer to join our business team. This position will be based in Launceston. We are after someone motivated to grow, learn and seize new opportunities in their career progression. Part time role can be considered for the right applicant.

Our Administration Officer will be responsible for:

- Providing general administration support to allied health professionals, such as front reception duties, booking and managing multiple calendars.

- Following established new referrals and discharge processes.

- Data Entry, producing and distributing reports, letters, agreements; ensuring accuracy.

- Liaising with local community partnerships for service delivery.

- Support with the creation of resources, online campaigns and management of social media platforms.

- Assisting the broader business team as required.

This role can be slightly adjusted to suit your skills and interests; previous health experience is not a requirement. We are looking for someone welcoming and friendly to join our busy practice who is happy to learn, work together as part of a team, is creative and flexible in their approach.

Essential criteria

- A current National Police check, drivers licence and working with vulnerable people card or willingness to obtain.

- Experience with Microsoft office suite.

- Previous customer service experience.

- A demonstrated ability to multi-task and use initiative.

- An ability to show flexibility in a team environment.

Desirable

- Previous experience with practice management software.

- An understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule.

- An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
