About This Opportunity
This is a challenging role where you will be responsible for developing and delivering Defence tenders worth up to $200 million.
Main Responsibilities:
* Preparing bid literature, supporting project initiation, reviewing material and equipment selection, conducting site inspections, managing RFIs and TQs, client liaison, reviewing designs and specifications, planning and executing structural and mechanical components, developing cost estimates, analyzing cost escalation, compiling material quantity take-offs, creating estimates from first principles, validating subcontractor pricing, ensuring quality documentation and project management systems.
Your Skills and Qualifications:
* You should have experience in engineering and resource industries, with expertise in hydraulic/mechanical piping and equipment. Experience in Defence sector, construction, process and non-process infrastructure, and water/wastewater treatment is highly desirable.
* You should also have financial and commercial acumen, people skills, and be confident, professional, and self-motivated.
